Preface

Mahaveer Swami, who is also known as Lord Mahaveer. Mahavir Swami was the 24th and last Tirthankara of Jainism. He was born in a royal family in Kundalgram of Vaishali (Bihar). was done His life and teachings are the main pillars of Jainism. His father’s name was Siddhartha Raja and mother’s name was Trishala Devi. who were followers of Jainism. From his childhood, Mahavir displayed his extraordinary intelligence and deep spirituality.

Childhood:

Although Mahavir Swami lived a life of comfort and wealth as a prince, he hungered for spiritual life. Seeing the sufferings of the world and the suffering of mankind. At the age of 30, following the expectations of family and society, Mahavir Swami renounced the worldly life, leaving his empire, wealth and family to find a path to salvation.

Aparigraha: Among other important teachings of Mahavir Swami is Aparigraha, meaning not to have excess wealth. One should be free from attachment to material things. They believed that attraction creates desire, pain and attachment.
